Can money buy you TIME?

I recently saw someone comment on a Facebook post stating that money cannot buy you time. Well I disagree! Read on to find out my thoughts on how money CAN buy you time.

Do you love yard work? What about cleaning your house? Doing laundry? Walking your dog? Okay, maybe you do love, or at least like, some of those things. But do you ever feel like you don't have enough time to do those things plus all the other things you love? Well guess what?!?! Money allows you to pay for someone else to do those things!

Think about how much more time you would have in your week if you never had to clean your house or do your laundry? You could spend more time watching movies or playing games with your family. You could spend more time in the evening playing with your dog if you paid someone to walk them. You could spend more time sitting on your patio reading a book if you paid someone to mow your lawn & pull your weeds.

See a larger list below of ways money can save you time. I would love to hear your thoughts & what else you might add to the list!

  • If you own a business, you can pay someone to do your social media, respond to emails, etc. You could spend more time WITH clients, doing the work you truly love.

  • Again if you own a business, you could pay an assistant to take care of most of your work while you take a week long vacation!

  • House projects - maybe you are capable of replacing your hot water heater or updating your bathroom, but you could spend more time enjoying your home & less time stressing over projects if you paid someone to do the work for you.

  • A wedding planner - spend more time on the aspects of your wedding that you are excited about, & less time narrowing down the catering lists - leave that up to the wedding planner!

  • Grocery delivery - if you hate grocery shopping, or feel like you don't have the time to commit to going regularly, there are many services that can do this for you. This way you could spend more time meal planning, making a grocery list & cooking since you won't have to spend time driving to & from, as well as actually doing the shopping.

Research shows that when people spend money on time saving services, such as those listed above, they feel happier than if they are spending money on material goods.

Time is precious. If you want to be able to afford some of these things, but feel like you cannot, keep following me & set up a consultation so we can do some targeted goal setting.

Money CAN buy you time, so use your money & your time wisely!
